Treyarch is working on a stutter fix in CoD: Black Ops Cold War on PS5 – Gaming – News

Treyarch acknowledges that there may be stuttering and hiccups while playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on PlayStation 5 after the current Season One patch is implemented. The developer says he is working on a solution.

On Twitter describes Treyarch the problem if occasional hitching. The company says a solution is planned that should appear as soon as possible. When exactly that solution will come out, is not yet known. The problem was already on Reddit reported by a player; he states that there is a stutter and therefore a short-term collapsing frame rate that occurs almost randomly every few seconds during gameplay. According to another player this new problem makes the game more or less unplayable.

There are several other issues that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War PS5 players are talking about complainsuch as lag and random crashes. In addition, there are also players who cannot access the Season One content. This is limited to PC, according to Treyarch, where the so-called ‘Zed 398 Swift Clover’ error can occur when players attempt to play the content from the first season. Treyarch says that it is investigating this issue together with Beenox and that it has disabled crossplay on PC for now. There was one before problem for Xbox players.

The first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War arrives Wednesday and will introduce new weapons, operators, challenges and additions to the zombie portion of the shooter, among other things. In addition, eight new multiplayer playing fields will be added. Gunfight mode will also become available in Black Ops Cold War, where two players have to compete against two others.
