“Trends” launches the “Research Content Creators” initiative during the World Media Congress

The Trends Center for Research and Consulting launched the “Research Content Creators” initiative, which aims to form a model that enhances and encourages scientific research, and to create a capable and empowered generation as the hope and leaders of the future, during its participation in the work of the second session of the World Media Congress, which concluded yesterday.

The launch was attended by Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, Director General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the World Media Congress, and a large media gathering.
The vision of the initiative is for the Trends Center for Research and Consultation to be a pioneer in the field of research, and a voice for knowledge, supporting young people in this field. The initiative team consists of 10 qualified researchers from “Trends”, 5 young men and 5 young women, specializing in various fields.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Ali, CEO of Trends, confirmed that the “Research Content Creators” initiative will provide special platforms for all its members; With the aim of expanding the scope of scientific research, he pointed out the need to benefit from the expertise and advanced technologies presented at the World Media Congress, as the event constitutes an important station for learning about technology and development processes in media work.

Muhammad Jalal Al-Raisi announced, through a podcast episode of “Trends” in cooperation with Diwan Al-Mulla, the recommendations of the second session, which focused on the necessity of empowering young people in the field of media, and benefiting from modern technologies in all their dimensions, in addition to the importance of focusing on sustainability and climate issues in light of hosting… UAE “COP28”, working to expand participation in future sessions, and building new partnerships.

Al-Raisi praised the participation of “Trends” and its distinguished efforts during this session, which contributed to the success of the work of Congress and the achievement of its goals.

On the other hand, the “Trends” Center organized a discussion session entitled “The Transformative Power of Sports: Sports Games and their Impact on the World” in its pavilion in Congress, moderated by researcher Sultan Al-Rubaie, Vice President of the Research and Consulting Sector at “Trends”, and with the participation of Yaqoub Al-Saadi, President of Abu Dhabi Sports Channels. And researcher Warda Al-Menhali, Director of the Corporate Communications Department at Trends, and Head of the Sports Committee.

Sultan Al-Rubaie stressed that sport has a great transformative power in the world, as it can contribute to achieving social, economic and cultural development, and it is a global language that speaks without borders, and a force that brings together cultures and breaks down barriers.

For his part, Yacoub Al-Saadi stressed that sport is a transformative force in the world, has an important role in sustainable development and peacebuilding, and contributes to enhancing understanding and respect between different cultures.

In turn, Warda Al-Menhali said: The UAE has strong potential to enhance sports diplomacy, through a group of factors, including the presence of many strategies and policies to develop the sports sector and the possession of an advanced sports infrastructure. These capabilities enhance the strength of UAE sports diplomacy, which contributes to establishing… Strengthening bridges of cultural and civilizational communication between countries and peoples, enhancing international cooperation, and improving the country’s image globally.

At the conclusion of the session, the participants stressed the importance of the role of sport in building a better world.
