FRANKFURT (Dow Jones) – Traders expect the DAX to rise on Friday. The three market participants surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires expect an average DAX level of 12,923 points at the close of Xetra. That would correspond to an increase in the DAX of 0.7 percent on the previous trading day. All three market participants are assuming rising prices. The range of forecasts ranges from 12,900 to 12,950 points.
Most recently, the DAX closed at 12,830 points. Since the beginning of the year it has been in the red at -3.2 percent, with the index fluctuating between 8,255.65 points (March 16) and 13,795.24 points (February 17).
