WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA – The existence of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) groups among school children has created a commotion.
The reason is that the LGBT community is now targeting school children to the point of being brought to the attention of the people in Wonogiri, Central Java.
This problem arose and was discussed in the 2023 Wonogiri Community Gathering Forum at the Wonogiri Regent’s Official Home Hall which was held on Friday (19/5/2023).
“The Social Service has found an LGBT group or group,” Wonogiri Regent Joko Sutopo told TribunSolo.com.
According to him, the agency has detected the presence of LGBT embryos, where the LGBT group is still in the category of young people.

He considered this to be a fact on the ground, so it had to be conveyed and had to be scrutinized by various parties.
“I think this is worrying. This means there is a shift in social behavior,” explained Jekek, his nickname.
He explained that solving the problem could not be done by regulation.
According to him, awareness needs to be built regarding what impacts arise as a result of this.
“We build awareness with approaches, through counseling, assessment and assistance. If it is established, we will strengthen it with regulations,” he explained.
When asked how many findings were found in the field regarding this phenomenon, Jekek said it was high, but he did not specify the number of LGBT findings.

“For example, the three findings, in my opinion, are high because there are anomalies, school-age children. There is a new problem in Wonogiri related to this indication of LGBT,” he added.
In the future it will discuss how to solve the problem. It together with related agencies will detect potential problems that arise such as HIV / AIDS.
Separately, the Head of the Wonogiri Health Service (Dinkes), Setyarini, said that LGBT was one of the spreads of HIV. According to him, the phenomenon is like an iceberg phenomenon.
