Travis Scott (32) hasn’t let go of the terrible events yet! In 2021, tragedy struck during his Astroworld festival. Ten people lost their lives in a mass panic and several hundred visitors were seriously injured. Since then, the rapper has been heavily criticized publicly. Now, two years later, Travis breaks his silence again and makes it clear how close the events of the Astroworld Festival still are to him!
In an interview with GQ, the rapper talks about the terrible incident. “This moment was devastating for the families and the city,” he says, reflecting on the whole thing. The “Sicko Mode” interpreter has to think about that tragic night again and again. “Those fans were like my family. You know, I love my fans… You just feel for these people and their families,” he explains.
Travis is currently on tour again. The musician is traveling across the USA with his “Circus Maximus Tour”. At one of his last performances he brought a cute guest on stage. His daughter Stormi Webster (5) was allowed to perform a song with him.
