Travelers stuck in Thalys for hours: windows smashed for fresh air | Abroad

Travelers tried to smash train windows to get fresh air, images of this are circulating on Twitter.

Images can also be seen of people throwing water from the platform at the people in the train. A Dutch traveler on the train announced on Twitter after being evacuated from the train for about four hours.

Thalys announced on Twitter that the fire brigade helped with the evacuation. It is not known why the passengers could not be removed from the train earlier.
