Transporting and slaughtering birds in stores ... irregularities and health damage "pictures"

Many health and environmental damages caused by the process of slaughtering, circulating and selling live birds .. which specialists had previously warned of, because of the hotbeds of diseases and epidemics that they represent, especially the bird flu virus.

The lens “The Seventh Day” monitored many of the violations that occur during the process of handling and slaughtering, starting from not following the proper environmental and health guidelines during the process of slaughtering and disposing of wastes, until the spread of live birds among foci and residential gatherings.

The risk of circulation and sale of live birds lies in the increased possibility of infection with the avian influenza virus that invaded Egypt during the first ten years of the third millennium, particularly in 2007, and caused severe losses to poultry farm owners and the death and injury of dozens of people who have contact with birds.

To reduce this catastrophe, the state decided to issue Law No. 70 of 2009 to take all measures that prevent the spread of this virus, which affects birds and lies in their blood, saliva, intestines, noses, and droppings, which dry out into volatile dust particles inhaled by chickens and humans alike.

The law that stipulated:

Obtaining permits from the Ministry of Agriculture confirming that the poultry in the farms are intact, as well as everyone who transports live poultry, obtaining permits to confirm the safety of the poultry, and was able to limit the spread of the virus before it stops working in 2011.

Therefore, we generally need such a law to limit violations that occur on the ground, such as entering cars loaded with live poultry in the midst of cities and residential blocs, and ignoring the rules of the slaughter process and the spread of its waste everywhere and not carrying out clearing operations on a daily basis once the work is completed and the absence of health certificates For all workers involved in the slaughter process.

Thus this law will prevent such infringing scenes, which in turn will limit the spread of epidemics and diseases among birds and humans alike.
