Building on its national success, the “Huawei ICT Academy” program certified more than 550 Moroccan students and teachers last year, the statement said, noting that Huawei Morocco has also signed a partnership agreement with 21 universities and colleges in Morocco. as part of this program.

To face the challenges of Covid-19, Huawei ICT Academy has also launched the “Learn ON” initiative by setting up online courses for students. In Morocco, more than 3,000 students have been able to continue their studies at a distance thanks to this initiative, the real spearhead of this program.

Also, nearly 500 students have had Huawei professional technical certifications in 5G, artificial intelligence and Big Data. “Moreover, the Moroccan students benefiting from this program are the only ones on a continental scale to be certified in 5G,” said Huawei.

Morocco among the World Top 5 in several ICT certifications

Since its creation, “Huawei ICT Academy” has trained 4 million technology experts around the world, including 3,700 Moroccan students. For its first participation, the Morocco Team, made up of academics in the field of ICT, won two prestigious prizes. These are the “Cloud” and “Network” prizes, during the world final, held in early November 2020, in the presence of more than 150,000 students, from 110 teams representing 39 different countries.

Huawei ICT Job Fair, employment for all
