Tragic, Osama Bin Laden was found because of dry clothes

WASHINGTON – Osama bin Laden had become the most sought after figure by United States of America (US). For a decade, the name of the late leader of a terrorist group al-Qaeda it became a scourge for the US who launched operations to a number of countries to hunt him down.

But in May 2011, during the administration of President Barack Obama, the man born in Saudi Arabia was killed by the US military at his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

Then how the hiding place of the figure who is known to be slippery can be found out and then lead to the tragic end of his life? The answer is laundry.

This was revealed from a book written by a national security analyst and former CNN producer, Peter Bergen. In the book ‘The Rise and Fall of Osama bin Laden’, Bergen reveals that it was the clotheslines filled with clothes at Osama bin Laden’s secret compound in Pakistan that helped CIA detect the famous global terrorist and carry out the operation to kill him.

Known to be polygamous, at the time Osama ordered September 11 attacks , he is known to have three wives: Khairiah Sabar (52), Siham al-Sharif (44), and Amal el-Sadah (17).

“To be a true Muslim, Osama bin Laden believes, you should only marry four wives that are justified by Islam and then treat all four of them fairly,” Bergen wrote in the book. Sputnik from the New York Post, Sunday (1/8/2021).

After the September 11 attacks, the family split up, while Osama bin Laden hid in the mountains of Afghanistan and in northern Pakistan.

He was reportedly determined to reunite his family, which is why, according to the book, he ordered his bodyguard, Ibrahim Saeed Ahmed abd al-Hamid, to buy land, hire an architect, and create a special complex in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
