Bhopal: Son, who returned home after hearing that his mother died in a bike accident, also died in a car accident. The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh. The deceased have been identified as Rani Devi (55) and her son Suraj Singh (22) from Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district. Both bodies were cremated together.
Rani Devi has three sons and three daughters. Rani Devi’s husband had died years ago. Rani Devi lived with her elder son Prakash and younger son Sunny. Suraj, the second son, was in Indore. While going to a relative’s house on a bike with his younger son, the bike they were traveling in collided with another bike. He was taken to a nearby hospital but was asked to be transferred to another hospital. But Rani Devi died on the way to the hospital. Son Sunny escaped with injuries.
Suraj left Indore with his friend after hearing about Rani Devi’s death. On the way, the tire burst and the car lost control and hit a truck parked on the road. Suraj died by the time he reached the hospital. The friend and the driver are being treated for serious injuries. The village is in the midst of the death of a mother and son.
