The lifeless body of Álvaro Prieto, the 18-year-old Spanish young man who had been missing for four days, was found this Monday between two carriages of a regional train in the vicinity of the Santa Justa station in Seville.
What was recorded by a television camera was key to the discovery, since during a cell phone strike a moving train in which the footballer’s body could be seen.
Prieto had traveled to Seville on Wednesday to spend the night with some friends and on Thursday morning he planned to return by train to Córdoba, but apparently he missed his train and his phone ran out of battery. He then decided to board another train without the corresponding ticket, although he was detected by the railway staff, who urged him to get off the train. A local camera showed the young man walking out of the station, in what were the last images we had of him alive.
The young man’s body was taken to the Forensic Anatomical Institute, where an autopsy will be performed tomorrow Tuesday to elucidate the causes of his death. The Court of Instruction 11 of Seville is in charge of this case, which was on duty when the report of the young man’s disappearance was received.
