During the annual NATO exercise Saber Strike at the Bemowo Piske training ground in Poland, a Spanish corps was killed, the press service of the Spanish Army in X said.
“The accident happened during a tactical live fire exercise,” – the message says.
The head of the Spanish government expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased Pedro Sánchez and the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh.
In early March in Poland, during a NATO exercise, a tracked vehicle ran over two soldiers, killing them both. The incident took place at a training ground in the parish of Dravsko-Pomorskie.
