“Tragic Death of 1-Year-Old in Spring Valley After Being Left Alone in Vehicle”

NEW YORK — A 1-year-old girl died Tuesday after being left unattended in a vehicle for “several hours” in Spring Valley, New York, police said.

The event occurred at around 4:39 p.m. when the officers responded to a call of a lifeless minor in the area of Ridge Avenue in Village, of Spring Valley. Upon arrival, they were informed that the little girl had been left alone in the car for hours and died.

It was not disclosed how long he would have been in the car and what the cause of death would have been.

So far no arrests have been reported.
