A 61-year-old disabled woman was burned to death in a fire at her home in the village of Milevo in Plovdiv. She reported it to “Maritsa” the firefighters of the city under the hills.
The house was engulfed in flames just before 10pm last night. Firefighters arrived at the scene after the report. They managed to quickly put out the fire. However, the 61-year-old was already dead.
A man of the same age was saved. He suffered burns and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The cause of the fire was a solid fuel stove. The fire started from her and became the cause of the tragedy.
