On the A7 at Drachtstercompagnie, several cars collided on Monday at the end of the afternoon. The accident caused a traffic jam from Drachten to Groningen. This has since been resolved.

Several police units and an ambulance came to the scene to provide first aid. Both lanes were closed by Rijkswaterstaat, the traffic was led past the accident via the emergency lane. No one was injured.
