On Sunday evening, on the highway A7 Riga – Bauska, Iecava, Rīgas Street 38, there was an accident involving trucks and a car, informs the company “Latvian State Roads”.

Traffic was closed in both directions on Sunday afternoon, but traffic resumed around midnight.
The accident site can be bypassed along the P92 Iecava – Stelpe and municipal roads.
According to Gita Gžibovska, a senior specialist of the Public Relations Department of the State Police, told the portal “Delfi”, the police received information about the accident on Sunday at around 17.50.
According to the information available to the police, there are no victims in this accident.
At around 8 pm, traffic on the city’s main street was blocked in both directions, but a tow truck had arrived at the scene. Before 9 pm one lane was released for driving, police added.
Traffic resumed in both directions.
