Ready-to-wear is not having its best period. After Camaïeu or San Marina recently, the French chain of mixed clothing stores Burton of London decided to close 26 of its points of sale. The brand had been in the safeguard procedure since October 2022.

Good news for customers. The Vannes and Lorient stores are not not affected by the closure. Contacted by telephone this Saturday, the manager of the Vannes store wants to be reassuring:
Yes, we will remain open. Certainly, we do not know what the future will hold, but for the moment, we are not in the concerned.
“On the other hand, the women’s department could close later,” he adds.
We contacted the Lorient store, which referred us to the national communication department. According to our information, the Lorient store remains open.
Twenty-six closures in France
As part of a backup plan, “26 stores will close on Saturday February 25”. There are notably those of Rennes, Aix-en-Provence, Clermont-Ferrand, La Roche-sur-Yon, Créteil, Montauban and even Paris-Montparnasse.
