The full closure on the A7 in the north direction was lifted again shortly after 4 p.m. The police said in the late afternoon.
The reason for the long closure was lengthy cleaning work. A cleaning machine had to be ordered due to the scattered animal waste and animal fat on the road.
According to the police, the cleaning work took around 12 hours. But there was obviously no danger to people or the environment.
