The National 2 and the women’s D2 could finally resume … Explanations.
New twist for the National 2? While the next Executive Committee of the French Football Federation (FFF) is scheduled for Thursday, April 22, the body has not given up on resuming the championship. Nor the women’s D2, too. According to L’Est Républicain, the clubs concerned were informed last week that the Federation would study a rescue plan for these two exercises. The idea of play-offs / play-downs now thrown into oblivion due to the temporary inability to organize them, the FFF would now consider going until the end of the first leg, with a potential resumption on May 8 .
Regarding the N2, between five and seven games remain to be played. This would allow relegations and accessions with the National, which itself never stopped. Stopped since the month … of October, the clubs of N2 and D2 women will therefore wait for the Comex of next week to know if their entire season will be played on this month of May 2021 … to be continued.
