Patricia Morosini: He is very positive. We expected to remain well below 2019 figures, as the start of the year was slightly less up than the first quarter of 2022.

TourMaG.com – You launched Izirez in 2023, what is it about?

Patricia Morosini: It comes from the same ecosystem as Wonderbooking, agent booking tool, booking engine for agencies. Izirez is his companion for customers. On Izirez, the customer can configure their travel policy and apply their approval circuits.

If the two tools coexist, it is possible to connect connectors to Izirez that Wonderbooking would not have. This is the big advantage of this solution: we are in control of the direction the tool will take and its development.

We got started quickly with the Air France API live connection, which ensured we had access to NDC rates. Lufthansa quickly established itself, as it was not present on Amadeus.

We are currently making arrangements for other important connectors for us: British Airways and American Airlines.

As we go along, we will determine which companies we want to have direct links with. In the meantime, of course we have GDS connection.

Izirez is a tool that allows us to approach the NDC part. Agencies also have access to the solution and direct NDC content, without surcharge and with sometimes more advantageous prices, although this is not always the case.

It’s important for travel agencies to make sure they have the right content and even more so on an SBT, because you can’t catch up. The SBT must provide the right content.
