However, tourists often overlook this, as they do not anticipate the risk of fire in hotels. Therefore, the specialist also advises you to find out in advance where the fire exit is located, so that in case of an emergency you can get to it by the shortest route from the room. It is also important to count the number of all additional doors they encounter along the way.
“The fire escape rarely rises above the fourth floor, so it’s best not to book accommodation on floors above it. But rooms below the second floor level often become a target for robbers,” the expert said.
