Tottenham willing to accept £ 40m per star in distress

Tottenham may be willing to part ways with record-breaking former signing Davinson Sánchez, and AC Milan is reportedly looking for a move for the defender.

A report in The Sun claims that the Italian giants are looking for a new center in January, with the Spurs man very on your radar.

Sanchez He has only gone to the Spurs bench in one of the last five Premier League games. However, he has started the last two Europa League outings, although he looked shaky against LASK.

Summer signature Joe Rodon was preferred to Sánchez for last weekend’s draw with Chelsea. That’s despite the Colombian cost the Spurs a transfer record of £ 42 million in 2017.

With Toby Alderweireld returning earlier than expected from injury, and Japhet Tanganga now fit too, Sánchez is the fifth option for José Mourinho.

Eurosport reported on Friday that Sanchez was surprised by his recent omissions and was thinking about his future.

And Milan could offer an escape route for the 24-year-old.

The report adds that moving to San Siro could be attractive to Sánchez, given Milan’s youth recruitment boost.

They have recently brought in the likes of Diogo Dalot, Sandro Tonali, Jens Petter Hauge and Brahim Diaz.

However, for the move to happen, Milan will need to get close to what Spurs paid for the defender.

But it remains to be seen whether they will be willing to pay that for a player who has seemingly backtracked.

It seems certain that Sanchez will be missing again when Tottenham host Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday.
