After a long period of shadow, the Spanish tower in Darmstadt is being renovated.
The renovation of the Spanish Tower in the Rosenhöhe Park in Darmstadt is making progress. These days, the topping-out ceremony was celebrated on the area on the eastern outskirts of Darmstadt. In his judge, master carpenter Karl Heinz Hofmann (pictured) said: “Bless this tower now and I wish everyone who is down here good luck and well-being!” The BS Kulturstiftung of the married couple Brigitte and Ulrich Scheinert are currently leaving the tower renovate, which has had a deplorable shadowy existence in the past decades. In addition, a sculpture park is being built around the tower, which is due to open in autumn.
