It’s a prestige victory. After three weeks of break where the MHR was not spared by the cases of Covid-19, the Montpellier rugby players won this Saturday on the ground of the Stade Toulousain (29-16) the leader of the championship during the 20th day . A success which allows the Hérault residents to solidify their 11th place in the standings. The last places move away greatly.
Montpellier scored two tries in the match thanks to third row Alexandre Bécognée at the 41st. MHR put the cover back in the 53rd minute with another try from Jan Serfontein.
