Sure, there are people who have offices and pay for them.
But the few letters that really have to be written, I don’t spend 60 euros a year on that. If I really think about it, I don’t know if I’ve ever used Word privately in the past 2 years. I always have the company computer at home anyway, so I can use Office, even privately. Nobody will complain. But I don’t remember when I e.g. Word last used privately. I have an Excel file that I regularly use privately.
In my job, I see that fewer and fewer people have a fully-fledged computer at home. If we ask them to use the computer, then mostly 1000 updates have to be downloaded, etc.
