Dr. Saeed Al-Saqqan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Ismailia, announced the launch of the “Maternal and Fetal Health” initiative within the presidential initiative 100 million health, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, in all health centers and units at the level of health departments in Ismailia Governorate.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Ismailia stated that the initiative aims to examine pregnant women from the “B virus, syphilis bacteria and HIV”, in addition to checking pressure and performing physical measurements of weight and height and measuring blood sugar, to prevent the transmission of diseases from the mother to the fetus.
