TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Pahala Nainggolan said that his party would immediately submit data on 134 tax clerk who have shares to the Ministry of Finance. He said the fastest submission of the data was Friday, March 10 2023.

“Earlier the Secretary General was whispering. I’ll tell you later, will you give it? Maybe tomorrow,” said Pahala on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

In addition, Pahala said the KPK had traced 280 companies whose shares were owned by tax officials. He said two of the 280 companies were tax consulting firms.

“There are many, 280 different types of companies that we are exploring. But our focus is on the tax consultants first,” he said when met at the Bappenas Office, Jakarta.

Previously, Pahala revealed that the KPK had found 134 tax officials playing shares in 280 companies. He said the data would be investigated by the KPK.

“Therefore, we did an in-depth study of the data we have, it was recorded that 134 tax officials actually owned shares in 280 companies,” said Pahala on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
