According to Sulhani Hermawan, M.Ag, Lecturer of IAIN Surakarta, the night of Nisfu Syaban is a special night that falls in the middle of the month of Syaban.
“The night of Nisfu Syaban means the middle of the month of Syaban. Well, but what is taken is especially the night of the 15th. The shift of the day is after the sun sets,” Sulhani Hermawan told Tribunnews.com in the OASE event, Friday (19/3/2021).
