Tom Holland Reveals Love for Zendaya and Takes Break from Acting

[OSEN=김보라 기자] Actor Tom Holland showed off his affection for Zendaya Coleman.

Tom Holland said in an interview with BuzzFeed on the 14th (local time), “I fell in love with Zendaya. We want our relationship to be amazingly protected and kept as sacred as possible.”

At the same time, Tom Holland confessed, “I don’t think we owe anyone anything for our relationship.”

The two developed into lovers while appearing together in the movie ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ (2017). They said they met for the first time in March 2016 for filming.

As ‘Spider-Man’ succeeded at the box office, it led to the series ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ (2019) and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ (2021).

Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker, and Zendaya Coleman, who plays MJ, did not reveal that they were in a relationship before, but officially acknowledged their relationship in November 2021.

Tom Holland continued, “Zendiah is one of the most talented people I have ever met. “From the first time I met her, she thought MJ was the perfect fit for her role. She recalled that Zen Daya’s performance surprised her and piqued her interest.

Meanwhile, Tom Holland announced that he would take a break from acting for a while after the Apple TV+ web drama ‘The Crowded Room’ and take time to recharge. He said it was because his real-life mental health was adversely affected while playing a character diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder.

Recently, Tom Holland confessed, “I’ve been living with the idea that working hard is good, but my personal life collapsed a bit while filming ‘The Crowded Room’.”
