Nine months after canceling his latest show following a COVID-19 outbreak in his studio, Tom Ford took over a former trading room just beyond the World Trade Center to present a hyper glamorous collection.
While the women’s collection is literally sexy with gassy black lace lingerie, black and silver nightclub shorts, candy-colored metallic dresses and jaw-dropping sequined and jeweled suits, menswear is slightly more tempered, with leather blazers, some with effect crocodile or made from snakeskin, moiré, animal prints and a Barbie pink color – the aforementioned satin cowboy shirts with fringes or embroidered shirts for a western touch.
