They recover the Mona Lisa, which has been missing for two years
And December 12, 1913one of the most famous paintings in history has been recovered: the smooth mine The work had been missing for two years after being stolen from the Louvre museum in Paris. The da vinci painting was found in the room of the Italian waiter, Vincent Peruggia.
Continuing with the Italian artist, a 1980, Armand MartelloUS oil businessman, paid more than five million for a da Vinci notebook which was auctioned off in London. In it there were writings by the painter and, curiously, it was auctioned again 1994 and it was sold for six times the price and the bidder was Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, paid $30.8 million for the manuscript.
And in literature, Juan Ramón Jiménez won the Nobel Prize in 1956 and 2000, Francisco Umbral won the Cervantes Prize.
