Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya City Establish Donation Boxes for Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Funds

Tochigi Prefecture announced on the 4th that for the time being, donation boxes for relief funds aimed at supporting victims of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake will be set up at the prefectural office and seven prefectural and regional government offices. The relief money will be delivered to the victims through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The prefectural office is located in front of the lobby reception on the first floor of the main building. Regional joint government buildings will be located in Kawachi (Utsunomiya City), Kamitsuga (Kanuma City), Haga (Moka City), Shimotsuga (Tochigi City), Shioya (Yaita City), Nasu (Otawara City), and Aso (Sano City). Both services are available only during office hours on weekdays (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). (Yasuhiro Muto)

On the same day, Utsunomiya City also announced that it would be placing donation boxes at 20 city-related facilities for the time being.

There are two city halls on the 1st and 2nd floors of the main building. Others will be installed at one public health center, 13 district citizen centers, and four branch offices. All applications are accepted during office hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.) on weekdays.
