Finding ideal locations to carry out the mass vaccination campaign against Covid-19 is not always easy. Especially if it is about finding covered and comfortable places, with wide spaces that make waiting times bearable.
The Cinesa chain, leader in the sector, has approached the regional and local health authorities to open the doors of their rooms in this campaign. The company officials argue that the cinema facilities “are spacious and ventilated and conditioned.”

Cinesa controls 39 cinemas with almost 500 theaters of different capacities distributed throughout almost the entire Spanish geography. So “it could give support to the majority of the autonomous communities”. Most of these cinemas are in shopping centers and all have parking and nearby bus or metro stops.
The Odeón group has already concluded agreements with other countries to host vaccinations in their cinemas
Agreements with film companies to host part of the vaccination campaign already exist in some countries. The Odeón group itself, to which Cinesa belongs, has already concluded some of these agreements, says a spokesperson for the entity.
