Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian will inaugurate Major General Achmad Marzuki as the acting (Pj) Governor of Aceh Province at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office, Jakarta on Tuesday (5/7) afternoon tomorrow.
“The Minister of Home Affairs who will be appointed by the Presidential Decree to become the acting Governor of Aceh is Maj. Gen. TNI Achmad Marzuki,” said the Staff of the Minister of Home Affairs Kastorius Sinaga, Monday (4/7) night.
Kasto admitted that Achmad had just been appointed as Expert Staff to the Minister of Home Affairs for Law and National Unity as of today, Monday (4/7). This means that Achmad has only been an Expert Staff of the Minister of Home Affairs. Then, tomorrow has changed positions again as Acting Governor of Aceh.
“He was appointed this afternoon as a Staff Member of the Minister of Home Affairs for Law and National Unions,” said Kasto.
For information, Ahmad is still an active Indonesian Army soldier until now. Before being appointed as Expert Staff to the Minister of Home Affairs, the man who was born in Bandung on February 24, 1967 had served as an Expert Reviewer in the field of National Awareness of Lemhannas.
Ahmad received the rank of Major General or two stars when he served as Pangdivif 3/Kostrad for the 2018-2020 period.
Consecutively, he served as the Commander of the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command in 2020. That is, he has experience leading TNI AD soldiers in Aceh. He was then transferred as Aster Kasad in 2021-2022.
