Although MediaMarkt is not the cheapest provider across the board when it comes to iPhone 14s, MediaMarkt is not much more expensive than the other retailers either (usually around 10-30 francs). In addition, most iPhone 14s cost over CHF 1,000, ie you receive the largest gift card with a value of CHF 200 when you make a purchase. All CLUB members (registration, etc. is free) also receive an additional CHF 10. The price of the iPhone is also quite stable, ie you don’t get significant discounts that often.
It is important to note, however, that the voucher you receive expires quickly. The voucher will be delivered on March 9th and must then be redeemed by March 31st.
The iPhone trick is only worthwhile if you are very sure that you will also be ordering something worth more than CHF 210 from MediaMarkt afterwards.
The trick also works for example Samsung Galaxy S23+ and S23 Ultra, but since MediaMarkt is more expensive in terms of price. However, you can still get away cheaper if you can use the voucher sensibly.
