Thunderbird 68.9.0 fixes serious vulnerabilities

June 4, 2020 –
The Mail Client Thunderbird was released in version 68.9.0. The update also includes several fixes for serious security vulnerabilities, which is why users should install them as soon as possible.

In one Security advisory Mozilla lists no less than six security holes that were closed in version Udpate 68.9.0 for the Thunderbird mail client and whose level of danger was rated as high. Users are therefore strongly advised to install the update as soon as possible in order to continue to ensure the security of their own digital mail. The current version of Thunderbird is of course also available in our freeware library Download ready.

But beyond the security gaps, the developers in the mail client have eliminated minor shortcomings, such as a problem in the calendar, and improved the stability of the program. All fixes can be found in the release notes of the current version 68.9.0 this link see.
