The Grasshoppers suffer a defeat in the 13th round of the Challenge League. The leader was defeated by Thun, who was in good shape, 1: 3. Aarau had to be content with a 3: 3 against Stade Lausanne-Ouchy.
A double strike by the Bernese Oberlanders by the Japanese Nikki Havenaar (85th) and Dennis Salanovic (88th) within a good 120 seconds decided the top fight in the arena in Thun shortly before the end. Cristian Ponde had scored 1-1 for Zurich a good ten minutes earlier.
For GC it was the third defeat this season, the third on artificial turf. Thun continued his strong streak under coach Carlos Bernegger and is now second in the table after the eighth game in a row without defeat.

Little was missing and the 50 spectators in Aarau’s Brügglifeld would have seen FC Aarau’s fourth win in a row. A stupid handball by Elsad Zverotic in his own penalty area enabled the guests from Lausanne-Ouchy to equalize with a penalty in stoppage time. The hosts had previously made a spectacular turnaround when they turned the 0: 2 into 3: 2 between the 67th and 74th minutes.
Xamax goes down in Witerthur
FC Winterthur is new in third place and has the better goal difference than the Aargauer. Winterthur won against relegated Neuchâtel Xamax 4-0. For the Neuchâtel and their coach Stéphane Henchoz it was the seventh defeat in a row. The lead over bottom table Chiasso, who won 3-0 in Wil, melted to one point.
