So far, three people have been tested for corona virus in the Netherlands. According to the Ministry of Health, it was a false alarm for all three.
At least two of them had complaints and had been in the Chinese metropolis of Wuhan – the epicenter of the outbreak.

It concerns three patients who work at the same company as the man who was diagnosed with the virus on Monday. They were probably infected by a Chinese colleague who took a course there.
A new infection has also been reported in France. This is an elderly tourist from China. According to the French authorities, he is in a bad state.
Dutch doctors are now obliged to sound the alarm if they only think that someone has caught the virus, but have not yet established it. The GGD or the hospital then buys some throat mucus and sends it to the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, which has a check to see if it is infected.
