Three injured in Oud Gastel stabbing

Three people were injured in a stabbing incident in the Brabant village of Oud Gastel last night. Police say it is believed to be an argument that got out of hand.

The police received a report of an incident on Koopmansstraat just after 9 p.m. BN De Stem reports that two ambulances and a trauma team were at the scene. Officers were wearing bulletproof vests, according to the newspaper.

Upon arrival, two people were found to have been stabbed. A third person involved was also injured. All three were taken to hospital.

The cause of the quarrel is unclear. It is also unknown what condition the victims are in.
