Three ‘house robbers’ arrested in Mara

Uniformed members of Peace Quadrant No. 13 of the Bolivarian Police Corps of the Zulia state, arrested Fernando Andrés Moreno Mayor, 23, accused of stealing food, shoes and money, from a house located in the La Esperanza sector (El Desespero) from Carrasquero, Luis de Vicente parish, Mara municipality.

Moreno was pointed out by the owner of the property to violate the security of the back door and steal 10 kilos of rice, three sausages, three kilos of meat, four kilos of cheese, five kilos of sugar, a pair of sports shoes and 50 thousand Colombian pesos.

The case was passed to Prosecutor 18, the police said in a press release.

In another procedure, a pair of “house robbers” were caught, identified as Kervin José García López, 18, and Juanherli Orlando Abraham Guerrero Montiel.

Officials of the Cpbez Peace Quadrant No. 9 said that the detainees are accused of entering a house and stealing a laptop and two cell phones, in fact occurred in the Las Lomas sector, in El Moján, Mara municipality.

They were taken to the Guajira Police Coordination Center, where they were in custody and also under the command of the Prosecutor 18.
