“A month ago, Bintang was invited by Putri for a walk. I saw him on the podcast once a day for a walk,” Wati Trisnawati said on Tuesday (11/29).
If Teddy Pardiyana is eventually jailed for alleged embezzlement, he is said to have opposed Sule’s custody of Bintang. Teddy prefers his child to be raised by Putri Delina.
“I’d be sorry if Mr Sule (the one who takes care of the child). Why Mr. Sule is not in a relationship, unless Putri is his elder sister, yes I can accept that,” the lawyer explained.
“Because Pak Teddy cannot be separated from his children, he also goes everywhere together. If there are other parties who are not related, there is fear that he doesn’t feel at home with his child,” Wati Trisnawati continued.
Legal authorities also admitted that they have not determined further on who will take care of Bintang if Teddy bear must be incarcerated. But what is clear, custody will be given to the next of kin.
“I don’t know about custody rights, it’s usually a close relative asking. But I don’t know where Pak Teddy applied for guardianship,” she said.
“We hope you don’t go to jail. This is a subtle civil and criminal case. We hope the verdict is civil. Selling an inheritance without the permission of an heir,” concluded the lawyer.
