Thousands protest in France against mandatory COVID vaccination

Thousands protested in France today against the authorities’ plans to access restaurants and cultural spaces only for those who have been vaccinated or have recently tested negative for COVID-19. The protests also led to clashes between the participants and the police. The police used tear gas to scatter the demonstrators in several French cities, including the capital Paris and Lyon, AFP reported.
