Thomas and his ex Myrthe have not been a couple for four years, but still get along well. According to the singer, the contact between them is ‘really great’. “I love Myrthe with all my heart and soul for who she is as a person, but our energies are the same,” he says in the magazine. “The choices you make when you break up, or when you somehow get worse with each other, always have to do with your own ego. If you can put that ego aside, everything will be much easier.”

Thomas and Myrthe have a son together, Jack. Especially for him, the singer packed his things and moved back to Alphen aan den Rijn, which he calls ‘the very best choice I have ever made’. “Myrthe lives 600 yards away. Jack cycled up to me from school once on a Wednesday afternoon. Then I opened the door and there was my little man. That moment I realized this was the right decision.”
Whether there is a new love in the game? Although Thomas is not looking, he does enjoy women without putting a label on it. So nothing serious. “I now also say: ‘You shouldn’t have any expectations of me. I can’t live up to them at the moment,” said the singer.
