Sergio Ramos a little more to be unveiled as a new player Paris Saint Germain. He will join the French giants for the next two years.
Diario AS reported, Ramos arrived in Paris on Tuesday (6/7/2021) to undergo a medical test. If all goes well, then Ramos just needs to sign a contract and be announced as a new player.
Ramos will be introduced to the public at the earliest on Wednesday (7/7) tomorrow. Given that PSG had started pre-season training on Monday (5/7), Ramos could have immediately started training under Mauricio Pochettino.
Ramos previously also been training to recover physically during the summer, he is believed to have no difficulty adapting.
PSG is rumored to be the only team that made a real move to get Ramos. They also dared to offer him a two-season contract, something he didn’t get from Real Madrid.
The entry of Ramos to PSG is expected to give new strength to Les Parisiens, especially in their long-awaited pursuit of the Champions League title. PSG’s best achievement in the event was only being runner-up in 2020.
Ramos will start a new adventure in his career, after 16 years with Madrid. Although he wanted to stay, Los Blancos were no longer interested in using his services, and chose to rely on younger players.
