This responds to a pilot plan prepared by the Minvu and Parquemet to allow controlled access for visitors from the communes that are in the transition phase, such as Vitacura and Providencia. The accesses enabled for this first stage of gradual reopening will be those of the Pyramid and Pedro de Valdivia Norte.

On the occasion, Housing Minister Felipe Ward pointed out that “the park will be open from Monday to Friday from 10 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon. We have installed, thanks to the park team, signage in all public access places so that people stay informed. You know – you saw us enter – that we have this high-tech system that allows you to enter through the telephone or with the help of the entrance staff and, in this way, keep the count of people who are entering and maintain the capacity. The capacity of a normal day in the park is 15 thousand people and we have cut it in half to take care of people’s lives and health ”.

For his part, director of Parquemet, Martín Andrade, reported that “only pedestrians will be allowed to enter. We do not want accidents, we do not want to recharge the Emergency Centers of any of the clinics, and therefore, we do not want to have any type of problems and accidents, therefore, only pedestrians can access.
