This Sunday there will be vaccination against covid-19 in the Piraí cabins

The Government of Santa Cruz launched the mobile vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, which will begin this Sunday, January 23, and will run until Monday, January 31. The first day will take place in the cabins of the Piraí River, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Fernando Pacheco, Secretary of Health of the Government, pointed out that this is one of the strategies to continue immunization against Covid-19, given the drop that has been registered in recent days, compared to the previous week.

He described the Government’s measures as improvised (to go back on the request to present the vaccination card for entry into public and private places), and pointed out that the Santa Cruz Government will continue its work.

“We are focused on there being no excuse to get vaccinated,” he said. Then, he recalled that, in the Santa Cruz capital, there are 51 fixed vaccination points and that mobile phones will join this effort, with the offer of vaccines for first doses and boosters, both for children and adolescents, as well as for adults.

The Secretary of Health of the Government calculates that, between 500 to 800 people per day are immunized at each point of vaccination. “We hope that the population responds by applying the vaccine,” said Pacheco.

The schedule for these mobile points will start on Sunday 23, at the Cabañas del Río Piraí, with attention from 10:00 to 16:00. On Monday 24 they will arrive at the school supplies fair in Alto San Pedro, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On Tuesday the 25th they will visit the New La Ramada market; on Wednesday the 26th they will be at the Barrio Lindo Fair and on Thursday the 27th, at the Cumavi Avenue fair.

Pacheco reported that this campaign has the support of Hipermaxi; its manager, Federico Stelzer, indicated that this action is part of its Social Responsibility program Business and that they are making an ambulance available. In addition, he pointed out that they will invite refreshments to those who come to be vaccinated, as well as deliver toys to children who are immunized.
