The inoculation of people between 50 and 64 years old would begin on June 15, according to the new government plan. While from July 15, vaccination would begin for citizens between 16 and 49 years old.
The Ministry of Health made public its vaccination schedule in phases on May 30, 2021. The organization will continue to be by age groups, and plans to finish the inoculation of Ecuadorians until the beginning of September 2021.
