Through an official press release, 2K Games has revealed numerous details of the mode, “My Team” for NBA 2K21. As every year, the company will offer us enough news to keep us hooked on this mode until the next delivery is out.

The renewed “My Team” mode encompasses many of the past options with innovative additions to satisfy all players who give the opportunity to the new game of the veteran saga.

The entire progression and collection of MyTEAM from the current generation will be carried over to the next generation version on the same family of consoles. In NBA 2K21, all of your MyTEAM cards and progress will transfer from PS4 to PS5 and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, so you can enjoy MyTEAM without interruption all year long. Start earning in NBA 2K21 for the current generation on September 4, and when you move to the new generation all your CVs, MyTEAM Points, cards and tokens will be waiting for you.
New Seasons in NBA 2K21. The Seasons will bring new content and new ways to play MyTEAM throughout the year. And best of all: Seasons are free for everyone, they do not involve any payment component.
Badge customization and customizable evolutions. Badges are returned to MyTEAM, allowing you to upgrade and apply badges to players from Bronze to Hall of Fame. Evolution cards now branch out, and so you can control how you want to improve your cards.
New Limited Mode / Unlimited Mode 2.0. Limited is a game mode available from Friday to Sunday with new rules every weekend, where each player has a chance to win Champion Rings. A new ring will be available every weekend; Earn all the rings for the Season to unlock the best limited rewards. Plus, Unlimited Mode is back in NBA 2K21 fresh! This year, Unlimited consists of 9 Leagues that you will have to overcome to reach the top.
Another new feature of MyTEAM is The Exchange. Now you can exchange cards that you are not using for cards that will become essential in your starting quintet.
The MyTEAM IDOL Series Collection will feature some of the NBA’s most memorable players, featuring stars from the past and present. The set will consist of 15 cards, and it will be the most desired premium set in MyTEAM. The ÍDOLOS series will debut in September with a first Pink Diamond.

NBA 2K21 will be available on current generation consoles on September 4, 2020, and is available for pre-order now. The versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be available later this year.
