The police arrested TA (21), a sadistic robber who has slashed Firefighters in central Jakarta, Nopri Saputra (27). This is the guilty face.
Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama revealed that suspect TA was arrested by Opsnal Squad led by Tambora Iptu Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief Rachmad Wibowo in Roa Malaka, Tambora District, West Jakarta on Wednesday (7 /12/2022 ).
“The perpetrator was arrested while robbing another victim,” Putra Pratama said in a statement to reporters on Friday (12/16).
Putra explained that TA was in action at that time with its group, namely Icang, Ibnu, Sahrul and Ipul. Briefly, TA and his group were looking for targets in Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta.
Since they had no casualties, they then moved to Tambora. While passing through Tambora, they encountered male and female victims riding a Honda CRF motorcycle.
Seeing this, the perpetrators immediately followed the victim, then crushed from the back side and from the front side. The TA perpetrator then approached the victim, pulled out a scythe from behind sweaterand pointed it at the victim saying ‘enough lu… stop luOtherwise I bar lu‘, until finally the victim stopped.
After the victim stopped, TA and Ibnu got off the motorbike and wanted to snatch the victim’s motorbike. When the attacker was about to snatch the motorcycle from the victim, the latter tried to escape by breaking through the attackers.
However, the action failed because the victim’s right hand was cut off by the TA perpetrator using a scythe until he fell and injured himself. At the same time, the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit team, which had been following the perpetrator, immediately chased after him and shot him in the leg.
“When the fallen victim was about to be stabbed again by TA, the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit, which had been tracking the perpetrators since entering the Tambora area, immediately fired a shot at the perpetrator and hit him in the leg,” he said. Putra.
Putra said the shots were fired at the perpetrator because the TA wanted to wound the victim a second time. He said the gang then fled TA.
“Seeing this, the Icang brothers, Ibnu, Ipul and Sahrul fled on a motorbike leaving their boss, TA,” he said.
TA was then secured by the Tambora Police. Investigations revealed that he was the one who attacked the firefighters some time ago.
Currently TA is being held at the Tambora Police under Article 365 of the Penal Code which carries a 12-year prison sentence. The police are still chasing TA’s friends who escaped.
