WARTAKEPRI.co.id – The latest leak claims that Xiaomi is preparing a flagship cellphone with a charming camera sensor. Popular leaker Digital Chat Station revealed that this flagship cellphone will carry a 200 MP + 50 MP dual camera.
Samsung is known to have announced the world’s first 200 MP camera sensor, the ISOCELL HP1. The company has sent the sensor to the manufacturer, but did not say what phones debuted with the sensor.
The latest leak raises speculation that Xiaomi may be one of the manufacturers mentioned by Samsung.
Separate news from the Android Authority in July mentioned the existence of a Xiaomi flagship cellphone with a 200 MP camera and a Qualcomm SM8450 flagship chipset.
The camera sensor is expected to carry 16-in-1 pixel binning to produce 12 MP images. Quoted from Gizmochina, leaker Digital Chat Station provides the latest news about the next Xiaomi flagship cellphone.
He mentioned that Xiaomi’s flagship machine has found two solutions from a combination of a 200 MP (primary) dual camera and an ultra-large 50 MP.
Given that Samsung is the only camera manufacturer to have announced a 200 MP camera sensor, this sparks the possibility that Xiaomi could use the HP1 ISOCELL sensor.
The post uploaded by the Digital Chat Station also mentions that Xiaomi will continue to use 108 MP and 64 MP sensors for mid-range and flagship phones.
For information, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro is the first cellphone equipped with a 108 MP camera sensor. So it’s not surprising that they plan to launch a cellphone with a 200 MP camera sensor.
After the flagship cellphone, Xiaomi also embeds a 108 MP camera sensor into mid-range cellphones such as the Redmi Note 10 Pro. If the leaks above are true, the 200 MP + 50 MP camera sensor on Xiaomi’s flagship cellphone is certainly an attractive selling point for consumers. (voice)
